The Australian Government Business Registration Service integrates multiple business and tax registrations into one convenient location, making starting a business even easier. You may register your business name and apply for an Australian Business Number (ABN) online.

  1. Private service provider - You can use a private service provider to register or renew your business name (PSP). This might be your accountant, lawyer, or another company that works with ASIC to deliver online services. They will normally charge a fee in addition to what ASIC would charge for their services.
